Since we’ve relaunched we’ve had different and new people joining us each week on the Google+ hangout, which is great. This week we had Darren, Marc, Nick and Debs sharing their thoughts and opinions on a range of things including Open Badges (again!), Dropbox alternatives and ‘flipped’ classrooms.

- “Newsreaders still feel it is worth a special and rather worrying mention if, for instance, a crime was planned by people ‘over the Internet.’ They don’t bother to mention when criminals use the telephone or the M4, or discuss their dastardly plans ‘over a cup of tea,’ though each of these was new and controversial in their day.” (Douglas Adams)

This week’s discussion centred around the use of audio – including podcasting – in education. There were a good number of people at the meeting, and some experts in the field, such as Joe Dale and Mark Pentleton.
