EdTechRoundUp #20 – Copyright4Learning, Functional Skills, and wearable technology

ETRU WeeklyThis week’s meeting was led by Doug Belshaw. The agenda was somewhat spartan and so we spent a good deal of time discussing some of the major items. We started with a new wiki that Theo Kuechel and Mark Clarkson have set up entitled Copyright4Learning, touched upon ‘Functional Skills’, and then moved onto wearable technology and whether it’s a ‘game changer’.

Many thanks to Tony Sheppard for grabbing the audio from the FlashMeeting!

EdTechRoundUp Weekly #17 – The future of EdTechRoundUp

ETRU WeeklyThis week’s meeting was led by Doug Belshaw and focused on the future of EdTechRoundUp. Those at the Admin meeting fed back to the rest of the group about the decision made and discussed where we were headed. The new features and areas of EdTechRoundUp are summarised in this blog post. We’d like to invite those reading this post and listeners to the podcast to get more involved with what we do. :-)

Many thanks to John Johnston for grabbing the audio from the FlashMeeting!

ETR Weekly #10 – BETT 2009, Wiki textbooks and Education in 2020

This week’s EdTechRoundup Weekly started with a discussion on what education was going to look like the year 2020. We also discussed who’s doing what at BETT 2009 and a little bit about what people can expect from TeachMeet on the Friday night.

We moved on to discuss wiki textbooks and why they haven’t taken off as well as some ideas for Christmas lessons. :-)

Many thanks to Joe Dale for sorting out the audio. :-)

Unfortunately the two wiki pixies were not in attendance, meaning the ETR wiki page for this week’s show is looking somewhat sparse…
